The Slice A1. Was the prototype I first made. I think I ended up making four in total. For me and my friends. The A2 was a re design after driving the A1. It was at this time I started thinking about making a sell able kit. I was able to sell the first 6 A2 on Ebay. The business pretty much started as a ebay business. A few months later. My chassis was tested against two other popular aftermarket chassis out there. All three drivers picked my chassis. And things blew up from there. Started selling 60 chassis a month. For the next ten years. I was able to produce about 30 chassis a month.
The Slice B was a rear motor version of my chassis. As simple LCG chassis. I wanted to produce a Line of chassis. Different chassis for different applications. The B series has never sold anywhere near as well as the mid motor chassis. But I did make and update the chassis until my big move in 2019. Maybe one day I’ll make a new version.
The Slice DB was made because of the popularity of Short Course buggies. It was also my first attempt at making a body.
